Booking an Appointment:

All Clients must confirm their appointment with a valid credit card within 24 hours of booking. Failure to do so will result in their appointment being canceled in order to make room for those clients who are serious about the service and time of our therapists.

NOTE: No credit card will be charged until AFTER the service has been completed complying with our cancellation policy.

 

Availability

Although walk-ins are welcome, there is no guarantee that same-day appointments will be available. Same-day appointments, for any service, are not guaranteed so it is advised to plan and schedule ahead. We provide convenient online booking that shows all our availability to make it easier for our clients to consult their personal schedules in order to find an appropriate date.

 

Cancellation Policy

We respectfully require 24-hour notice for any cancellations and reserve the right to charge any appointments 50% that do not meet our 24-hour cancellation policy.  Any cancellations within the hour of the appointment are considered a “no show” and will be charged 100%. If a client fails to show up after the second offense, without contacting the therapist beforehand for their appointment, they will be dropped from the client list.

NOTE: In order to understand our cancellation policy, we would like to explain that for the length of the service a client is receiving, the price includes the prep and clean-up time required before and after each service, as well as the utilities that are in use during the time. Upon cancellation, the therapists are still required to prep and clean up and may not be able to fill the slots that were just canceled and must be made some compensation for their time and work.

 

Rescheduling an Appointment

All rescheduled appointments follow that of the cancellation policy. Rescheduled appointments within less than 24 hours ' notice will be charged 50% of the service value. Rescheduled appointments with less than 1 hour's notice will be charged 100% of the service value.

(Massage Manhattan sends out reminder texts/emails 48 hours in advance of your upcoming appointment, giving the client ample time to reschedule with no consequences if the client cannot make said appointment.)

 

Showing up for an Appointment 

Please show up 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment for time to go over anything that may be on your intake form, changes, concerns, etc., and to prepare for your session. This allows the therapist ample time to get you prepared and thus start your appointment on time giving you the full allotted time you have booked. Showing up when your appointment is supposed to begin, or later, results in a time cut from your service.
